Our History
Rams Head Shore House began as the Island Inn before being purchased by the Rams Head Group in 2006. Over the past 20 years, it has grown into a beloved Main Street destination where locals and visitors alike enjoy Chesapeake-inspired cuisine, an extensive beverage menu, and warm hospitality. The Shore House is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, lively music and trivia nights, and commitment to hosting community events that bring people together. As part of the family-owned Rams Head Group, it has become more than just a restaurant—it’s a gathering place for friends, families, and neighbors celebrating the flavors and community of the island year after year.

The Shore House was purchased in 2006, joining Rams Head's other family owned restaurants including Rams Head Tavern, Rams Head Roadhouse, Rams Head Dockside, and Rams Head Southernmost.
